The rumors are true. Planet Comicon 2013 is moving to a new venue, the Kansas City Convention Center. Long-time residents of Kansas City may still refer to the location as Bartle Hall, but they are one and the same, and in close proximity to a huge entertainment center known as the Kansas City Power & Light District. Not only does the area lay claim to some of the city’s best restaurants and night clubs but a brand new Alamo Drafthouse theater as well. If you thought your Planet Comicon weekend was fun before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
The dates for next year’s show are Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th, so start making your plans today.
Additional information–including guests and advanced ticketing–will be posted as it becomes available. Be sure to sign up as a fan and check back at this site on a regular basis for the latest details.
