Planet Comicon 2014 Guest: Eddie McClintock

Warehouse-13-S4x10-Eddie-McClintock-with-Tesla-gun-400x225Eddie McClintock is best-known for his role as Secret Service agent Pete Lattimer on the Syfy series Warehouse 13. Eddie has appeared in various T.V. pilots, starred in a few other network series, worked on several T.V. movies, and made many guest appearances on other T.V. shows.

warehouse13-05_500x337Eddie is an artist, as well as an actor.  On his website, Eddie says, “For as long as I can remember, I’ve doodled, drawn, sketched and painted.  My family would go out to dinner; I’d draw till the food came.  If I gallery_15355_281_658862was bored in class, I’d draw till the bell rang. “

And it all started with comics.  Eddie’s favorite artist is Herb Trimpe and The Incredible Hulk was his favorite comic character.  “Herb drew my favorite version of the Hulk for several years and for some reason, I was drawn to it (no pun here).”

Planet Comicon 2014 Guest: James Robinson

Publicity PhotosmJames Robinson was born in the United Kingdom, but has lived in the U.S. since 1989 where he began working in comics initially for DC and Dark Horse Comics.  Among his more known and regarded works are Grendel Tales: Four Devils, One Hell, sundry Legends of the Dark Knight arcs, Superman, Justice League of America and Earth 2.  He is perhaps most well known for his award winning runs on both Starman and Leave It To Chance.

Planet Comicon 2014 Guest: William Shatner

William ShatnerPlanet Comicon is thrilled to announce a special Sunday-only appearance of William Shatner. He will be available on a limited schedule for photos and autographs on March 16, 2014 only.

Mr. Shatner became an entertainment legend as Star Trek’s Captain James T. Kirk, leading the U.S.S. Enterprise through its original television run and seven blockbuster films. The winner of two Emmy awards, he has starred on series including Boston Legal, Rescue 911, and TJ Hooker.

He has also written dozens of fiction and non-fiction books including ten Star Trek novels, his own TekWar series, and memoirs including Star Trek Memories, Up Till Now: The Autobiography, and Shatner Rules. He has appeared documentaries related to Star Trek, including How William Shatner Changed the World and The Captains.

She has garnered acclaim for her work on comics including Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, Black Orchid and the classic Sandman with Neil Gaiman. She co-created and illustrated the dark-satire Finals and wrote and illustrated Death: At Death’s Door.

In 1997, Jill’s first children’s book, The Scary Godmother was released to critical acclaim and the film and tv rights were optioned in 1999 by Mainframe Entertainment.
