Many of you asked for it, and we’re going to give it to you.
Advance ticket purchasers (both on-line and physical, weekend or single-day) will be able to claim their admissions on Friday, April 5th, from 2PM to 8PM at Bartle Hall.
The entrance will be the same as the rest of the weekend, through the 2200 Lobby, which is located on 13th Street between Central and Broadway. Enter through the doors on the SOUTH side of the street and proceed down the long hallway to the 2300 Lobby. Take the escalators leading to Hall D in order to locate the Friday will call.
Here’s what you’ll need in order to pick up:
Personal ID (You will need to be the person who purchased the tickets. No exceptions will be made to this rule. Sorry.)
E-mail confirmation of purchase (If available; for purchasers of on-line tickets only.)
Ticket or tickets (For purchasers of physical tickets only.)
We’re expecting record attendance this year, and we’re taking any and all steps to ensure that Saturday’s entry to the show will be as quick and painless as possible for all attendees, whether you’ve already purchased tickets or are buying them at the door. By having advance ticket holders pick up on Friday, we’re hoping to eliminate a large chunk of traffic on Saturday morning. We hope you agree that this would be beneficial to all involved.
To that end, here’s some additional incentive. Every person who picks up their advance tickets on Friday will also receive BOTH Planet Comicon exclusive covers (pictured below) from Planet Comicons past, a $20 value, for FREE. (While supplies last.)
As in years past, we also intend to allow all advance ticket holders 30 minute advance entry to the show on Saturday (assuming the room is fully ready and we have the ability to do so).
